Hey lovely readers!
Today’s post is a fun little tag. It’s just some bookish questions, one for every letter of the alphabet. I found this one on Perpetual Page-Turner’s blog! I’ll post the link down below. So let’s just get into it!
Author you’ve read the most books from:
Has to be Ellen Hopkins. I’ve read every single one of her books. She’s amazing. I’m currently reading her latest release: People Kill People
Best Sequel Ever:
Oh man that’s mean. Gonna have to go with One Dark Throne.
Haha like 6 different books. But the last one I had open is Perversion by T.M. Frazier. It’s my second time in 2 days. Best book ever. And that cover *swoon*
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Iced tea definitely. It’s always my drink of choice.
E-reader or Physical Book?
I can’t choose! I really go in phases. For months it’s only Kindle and then I’ll randomly switch to physical only for a few months.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Definitely Peter Kavinsky from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I was totally miss popular in school, cheerleader haha. So definitely mister popular, lovable jock.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Fallen by Lauren Kate. I was initially put off by the whole fallen angels thing, but once I read the first book I finished the whole series in like 5 days! I don’t get why this series has such a bad reputation. Get past the first book and it’s phenomenal.
Hidden Gem Book:
What My Mother Doesn’t Know by Sonya Sones
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Joining the blogging community on Twitter. I’ve made so many friends, gotten so much support, and found so many great books.
Royally Screwed by Emma Chase. Soon to be a Passionflix movie!!!!
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
Definitely Sci-fi. I’ve read some, but I’m just not a fan.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. I have the B&N Classics edition and it’s around 812 pages I think.
Major book hangover because of:
The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell. Best book I’ve read in a really long time. Do yourself a favor and read it. Check out my review here.
Number of Bookcases You Own:
Four, I finally got my Ikea Billys. I got 3 big ones and one skinny one. Two of the big ones are completely full, the third was for when I bought more books and it’s already filling up 😉 The smaller one is my TBR shelf.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
So many haha But I’ve probably read Haunted by Heather Graham the most. It’s a paranormal murder mystery book. I’ve had my copy for a long time. I absolutely love it.
Preferred Place To Read:
In bed, it’s just so comfy! Plus then I can have all my pets with me.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
I have two, both from the same book. “He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” ― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights “If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.” ― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights
Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout. Basically it was Vampire Academy regurgitated and just nope. it’s sad, because it really left a bad taste in my mouth and now I have a hard time enjoying any of her books. Though I enjoyed the first Lux book haha
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. They’re just so long, it’s taking forever!
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling, Haunted by Heather Graham, Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Chloe Walsh! She’s absolutely phenomenal. If you like New Adult Romance you should definitely check out her books.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Possession by T.M. Frazier. It’s the sequel to Perversion. It comes out in November!
Worst Bookish Habit:
Umm sometimes I skip to the last page of a book to read it! Gahhh I know!
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
Your latest book purchase:
I got a few from a book sale this weekend. I found a basically brand new hardback copy of The Girl on the Train.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins. It was just so adorable. ❤
You can find the original post here.
