3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (Day Two)

Hey lovely readers!

Another book tag for you.

3 days

Day two of the challenge! Here are the rules: 1. Thank the person who nominated you. So huge thanks again to Louise from A little Fool Reads. Her blog is lovely! 2. Post one favorite book quote a day for 3 consecutive days. 3. Nominate 3 new bloggers each day. Here’s my quote for day two –

25614492“Every nation has hidden history, countless stories preserved only by those who experienced them. Stories of war are often read and discussed worldwide by readers whose nations stood on opposite sides during battle. History divided us, but through reading we can be united in story, study, and remembrance. Books join us together as a global reading community, but more important, a global human community striving to learn from the past.”
― Ruta Sepetys, Salt to the Sea

This quote is actually from the author herself and it is included at the end of the book. This book was beautifully written and I absolutely fell in love with it. I love any and all historical novels, particularly those concerning the World War II era. I love that the author has brought attention the Wilhelm Gustloff, which is the largest maritime tragedy in history. And yet it is not well known. This book was filled with beautiful quotes, powerful characters, and heartbreaking stories. But this quote reminds us all of the power of books.

I tag –

Bree – In Love & Words

Alyssa – A Lovely Book Affair

Emma – Emma’s Chapter

Thanks for reading guys! Talk to you soon! ❤ Adrianna

My name is Adrianna. I'm a 26 year old wife, book lover, and librarian. I have a deep love for books and an unhealthy obsession with iced tea! I can quote almost any Disney movie, Belle is my favorite Disney princess, and I live for Harry Potter! I enjoy reading New Adult Romance above anything else. I have 5 cats and 1 dog who are basically my world (along with hubby of course)! And when I'm not reading I enjoy writing, puzzling, trivia, and long walks with the hubs and dog! Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy!
