If Books Were Songs #2 – Bloggers Choice

Hey lovely readers!

books and music

I had a fun idea last week: ask some fellow bloggers for their favorite YA or romance books and I would pick some songs to go with those books. I really love putting music to books, so this is jut something fun I felt like doing! So here are the books, their songs, and the bloggers who suggested them.

The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

obsidianAlright so, I’ve only actually read the first two books of this series. But I do know the general story that the series follows. And I do plan to finish the entire series someday haha Here are my song choices! (Totally resisted the urge to include Alien by Katy Perry hahaha) This series was suggested by Bree @ Perpetual Fangirl

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Anna.jpgI absolutely adore this book and the other two books in this series. They’re just sweet and cute and a great read if you need a pick me up. Plus my mom’s name is Anna, so that always makes me smile. I had a little trouble picking just two songs for this one haha but here they are! Thanks to Luxe @ Mind of Luxe for suggesting this one.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Boys.jpgEveryone knows this one right? Thank you Netflix! Honestly I did not pick this one up until the movie came out. But I’m glad I did because I really enjoyed it! I tried to avoid using songs included in the movie, because I wanted these to be my own interpretation. Here they are! This suggestion comes from Ginger Snap Hattie whom I just recently discovered. Her blog is lovely!

The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West

boyfriendThis book is just pure, fun, ridiculous fluff. I mean it’s just total cute high school fantasy, it’s the kind of book that just puts a smile on my face. This one was suggested by Somya from Bookaholic Meets Finance Aficionado Here are my song choices!

Isn’t She Lovely by Lauren Layne

lovelyThis is the only book on this list that I haven’t read. But now that its been brought to my attention I can’t wait to get to it! It’s your basic fake relationship turns real, which I love. Thanks to the lovely Ebru from Ebs and Her Reads for the recommendation! Here are my songs choices!

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

emberI’m so due for a re-read with this one. It has been way too long! I love this book so much and I’m surprised I haven’t already made a playlist for it haha I actually had to stop myself after picking three songs, because I totally could have kept going. Thanks so much to @BookishGem  on Twitter for the suggestion! Here are my song choices!

That’s it guys! I hope you find a new favorite song or book here!

Thanks for reading! Talk to you soon! ❤ Adrianna
