Blogtober (Day 26) Book Review – Judge of Hell (Hell Night #3) by Alex Grayson

Hey lovely readers!

Here’s a book review for you! The third book in the Hell Night Series.

Trigger warnings for child sexual abuse and assault.

“Fierce, loyal, controlled. Three things Judge became at a young age. Enduring unimaginable horrors no child should, he swore no person would dictate his or his brother’s lives again.

Revenge fueled him, setting a path destined from the moment he and his brothers escaped their hell. Nothing would stop him from destroying the ones who’d wronged him, even if that meant giving up the only woman to ever make him feel more than the heat of vengeance.

He let Ellie go, threw her away, never knowing the consequences of his actions. Twelve years later, she reappears in his life, and she has some hellacious secrets of her own. Ones that knock Judge on his ass and threaten his ironclad control.

His life quickly changes course. Priorities are shifted and sacrifices are made. Judge has a decision to make. Will he give up his incessant need for retribution? Or will he sacrifice something he never dreamed he could have, but desperately wants. Or is it possible to have both?”

I was so excited to get to Judge’s story, because he’s absolutely my favorite guy. In the previous two books we get a glimpse at him and the way he lives his life. Especially the fact that he spends his time with four different women. And when we learn about his past and the only woman he truly loved, it becomes clear.

Judge is unsettled after he loses someone close to him and things only get worse when Ellie comes back into his life. Because she’s been keeping a secret that changes his life forever. I adore Judge and I loved watching him rediscover love and life. He’s always regretted letting Ellie go and now he can make it right.

Ellie is also my favorite main female character in this series. She makes some big mistakes, but in the end she can admit to them. She’ll do anything for those she loves even at the expense of her heart and her pride. The ordeal she suffered through and her strength in over coming it was an amazing addition to this story. Plus she stares her attacker in the face when he’s taken down and I love her for that!

Another amazing story in the Hell Night Series. I loved the twists in this one and that ending? Well, I was shocked.

Thanks for reading guys! Talk to you soon! ❤ Adrianna
